Mercedes-AMG Celebrates 50 Golden Years Of Driving Performance With Limited Edition GT C Roadster Edition 50 & More

This year, Mercedes-AMG is celebrating 50 years of unleashing performance road and race cars with a trio of limited edition models. First in line is the Mercedes-AMG GT C Roadster Edition 50 that will officially make its debut at the 2017 Geneva Motor Show, joined by Mercedes-AMG C43 Coupe and Cabriolet and Mercedes-AMG C63 Cabriolet Ocean Blue Edition. This is one party you don't want to miss.

Mercedes-AMG GT C Roadster Edition 50. This basically is an appearance package adding matte Graphite Grey Magno paint and black chrome accents on the vehicles front splitter, air intakes, side skirts, and rear diffuser. There will only be 500 examples of the Mercedes-AMG GT C Roadster Edition 50, 50 of which is heading for US shores.

It is powered by a 4.0-liter twin turbocharged V8 engine. A 550 horsepower will be feed through a 7-speed transaxle. A fat 502 lb-ft of torque and an intimidating roar completes this limited edition anniversary vehicle.

Mercedes-AMG C63 Cabriolet Ocean Blue Edition. Limited to only 150 copies, this limited edition cabriolet features a fabric soft crafted in a signature color with an exterior Cashmere White Magno finish. Its interior is accentuated by bits of a unique ocean blue hue, extending to the trim on the bumper and wheel center caps.

It also features AMG-forged wheels in a cross-spoke design painted in titanium grey. Unfortunately, AutoExpress UK reports that the Mercedes-AMG C63 Cabriolet Ocean Blue Edition won't be gracing dealerships in the UK.

Mercedes-AMG C43 Coupe and Cabriolet. And last but not the least is the Mercedes-AMG C43 Coupe and Cabriolet with the AMG Performance Studio Package. It brings an essentially black appearance package inclusive of a number of gray and black accents both in the exterior and interior. Both the coupe and convertible sport black 19-inch wheels and flat-bottom steering wheel which are wrapped in leather and suede, according to Car and Driver.

All three limited edition vehicles are set to debut at the 2017 Geneva Motor Show. Expect heads turning as Mercedes-AMG raises a glass, or two, to its golden anniversary.
