The new Gemballa Avalanche has pushed the boundaries and overdosed the Porsche 911 Turbo with some serious steroids, now capable of producing no less than 809 horses and more than 709 lb-ft of torque. Would you even dare tame this reincarnation of the 1980s Avalanche?

The Porsche 911 Turbo's 540 horsepower is already plenty enough for any hardcore enthusiast. But the German tuning company thought otherwise and moved the limits beyond possibilities.

Named after the 1984 Gemballa Avalanche, the tuned-up Porsche 911 Turbo version, with a 385 hp, this next-generation Gemballa Avalanche will officially flaunt its amped up version at the 2017 Geneva Motor Show, alongside powerful high-performance vehicles. Steffen Korbach, Gemballa's boss, said that they will be presenting two supercars at the convention, "the Gemballa Avalanche and Gemballa GTR 780 Evo-R, which both set new standards in performance and style."

Korbach added that the next-gen Avalanche is "an indefinable creation of engine sounds, power and acceleration to blast you across the horizon." Watch out Porsche!

Although official numbers and other specifics are not out as of this writing, CarScoops reports that the German company has upgraded the Porsche 911 Turbo's 3.8-liter engine making it produce more than 809 horsepower and a whopping 709 lb-ft of torque.  And oh, it has an acceleration to match.

According to TopGear, there's a new bonnet for the purple Avalanche, a front bumper arrangement, new exhausts and wheels, touches of bare carbon fiber, and of course some sort of a rear wing. But other than this, there isn't much information about the upcoming Gemballa Avalanche.

Come March 9 at the 2017 Geneva Motor Show, we will get finally get to see more of this stunning Porsche 911 Turbo on steroids. Korbach hinted that both cars will "set to break some records," perhaps referring to a couple of things as the Nürburgring lap record, which is currently held by the Porsche 918 Spyder. In the meantime, stay tuned for more updates on Gemballa Avalanche.
