SsangYong XAVL teaser photos are now circulating on the web, showcasing the fierce design of the new flagship. The new SUV's aggressive design and features seem to position itself as the new rival for Land Rover Discovery Sport.

SsangYong has unveiled its newest SUV prior to its major debut in the upcoming 2017 Geneva Motor Show. The automaker has released teaser photos to give the car enthusiasts some glimpses of the new SUV's

The new SUV is called XAVL Concept which stands for "eXciting Authentic Vehicle Long" SUV. The new vehicle took some inspiration from the XAV Concept which was introduced at the 2015 Frankfurt Motor Show.

The teaser photos reveal SsangYong's latest design language has evolved. The SUV's front end is an example of this evolution.

The new SUV sports angular folds and aggressive lines. This design gives the upcoming vehicle its distinctive fierce beauty.

Looking at the interiors, the automaker boasts a wide inner space for more comfort. It also comes handy with a user-friendly interface. The huge infotainment screen can also be spotted in the photo, AutoExpress reported.

Aside from the huge infotainment screen, the interface comes with connected car technology. According to Auto Car, the new SUV offers new safety features beneficial for both pedestrians and the people inside the car.

The dimensions of the new vehicle are anticipated to be 4630mm in length, 1866mm in width and 1640mm in height. It also sports a 2775mm wheelbase. These specs could also be linked to current models in the market, such as the Nissan X-Trail and Skoda Kodiaq.

The automaker has not released any official statement regarding the target release date for the new concept. The new SsangYong XAVL concept vehicle is speculated to begin production in 2019 and have a release date in 2020.
