Sure "Super Mario Run" isn't the next "Pokemon GO," Nintendo's game is still definitely addictive. The game's most recent update for iOS devices adds a new mode, Korean language support, tweaks to Toad Rally, penalty reductions, and a new event. But there is one minor catch for the latest mode.
An "Easy Mode" is now available as part of the "Super Mario Run" update on iOS. Nintendo has removed that time limit and granted players unlimited lives (infinite bubbles) in order to complete a level. However, this will only be available for players who purchased the full game.
According to Digital Trends, Nintendo announced that the addition of an easy mode was done to allow players to explore the game "pressure-free." This means that less skilled players will be able to survive difficult levels and skilled players will further strategize on getting the purple and black coins.

The catch, however, is that in the easy mode in "Super Mario Run" update, it will not save the player's coins. Players will need to execute plans in the regular mode if they want credit.
Other notable updates included support for a Korean language. The multiplayer mode "Toad Rally" has also been tweaked a bit. Prior to the update, once a player loses a race, he or she will also lose a number of multicolored Toads. Losing so many Toads is totally depressing for players because the Toads have been considered as currency in order to expand the player's Mushroom Kingdom. In the "Super Mario Run" update, this wide number of multicolored Toads has been reduced.
IGN reports that a limited time event "Golden Goombas" is also part of the "Super Mario Run" update. This is slated to run until February 20. What happens in the event is that the map will be sprinkled with a special Golden Goombas (as the title implies), rewarding 30 coins when stomped on. If all the Goombas have been stomped, a special Golden Goomba statue will be bestowed upon your kingdom.
Surely, iOS players will enjoy the "Super Marion Run" update. Meanwhile, Android devices will be getting their own version of the iconic running plumber around March 2017. This will probably spike the game's numbers as Nintendo has been trying hard to succeed in the lucrative mobile market.
