There are numerous great motorcycles, yet only a couple of them would go on to wind up become iconic. The first Ducati Monster came out in 1993 and overwhelmed the world with its street-naked styling. As of now, in its third era, the Monster is available with two engine choices - 1198 cc and 821 cc. Today, the company has the Monster 821, a spiritual successor to all the great bikes that have gone before it.

The Ducati Monster 821

It has all the signature Monster components to it, like a huge, muscular 17-liter fuel tank, the Trellis frame, minimal styling and a very aggressive stance. The stance looks sporty, thanks to the large Pirelli Diablo Rosso II tires and the bike's strong backside. The instrument cluster is an LCD unit and shows nearly everything that drivers need to know.

The Ducati Monster 821 misses out on a fuel gauge, gear indicator, and gear shift indicator, however. Fortunately, the bicycle has a low-oil indicator which illuminates when they are around 30-40 kilometers of range left, depending on how riders use the bike. The front headlamps look flawless and the sound from the exhaust will definitely bring a smile to riders' faces whenever they crank out the throttle.

Still an Iconic Bike

The Ducati Monster 821 is a little bit pricey but it is definitely a proper Italian classic icon and is packed and loaded with all the goodies that will make riders want to smile and enjoy the experience of pure riding that comes along with it.

At the end of the day, it is a complete motorcycle in every single sense and gives testimony to its legion of fans that the first Monster endeared way back in 1993.
