Kings of Leon drummer Nathan Followill was injured in an accident involving the groups' tour bus on Aug. 9.
The band confirmed the news on its Facebook account, adding that Followill is being treated for broken ribs, but was doing well.
"The band was en route to their hotel after their show in Boston when a pedestrian jumped in front of their tour bus, causing the bus to stop short, injuring Nathan Followill," the statement said.
The accident forced the band to postpone their show on Sunday (Aug.10) in Saratoga Springs, New York "until further notice," according to Rolling Stone.
Refunds are available to all ticket holders.
Bassist Jared Followill, the drummer's brother, tweeted about the incident on Sunday as well.

Kings of Leon just recently returned to the United States to continue touring in support of their album, Mechanical Bull, after touring in Europe for a few months.
The band played Lollapalooza in Chicago last weekend are will join Kanye West in headlining the Made in America Festival in Philadelphia at the end of the month.
It's currently unclear how Followill's injuries will affect their touring schedule, which features over more than 30 shows over the next two months.
Kings of Leon is also scheduled to play "The Tonight Show" on August 12, though that performance might be canceled.
The band has released six albums, most notably 2008's "Only by the Night" which featured singles "Sex is on Fire" and "Use Somebody." The album sold 1,900,000 copies in the U.S.
"Sex on Fire" was awarded with the Grammy for Best Rock Performance by a Duo or Group with Vocals at the 51st Grammy Awards.
During the 52nd Grammy Awards, the song "Use Somebody" won the Record of the Year, Best Rock Song and the Best Rock Performance by a Duo or Group with Vocal.
