A rocket launch scheduled for earlier this morning from NASA's Wallops Flight Facility has been postponed, according to a NASA press release.
Scientists said they will attempt to launch the rocket on July 1 instead at approximately 4:35 a.m.
NASA had planned to launch the SubTech-6 on June 29 to test new suborbital rocket technologies. The launch was scrubbed due to boats in the hazard area.
The SubTec-6 launch was postponed earlier today (June 30) as well because of "science conditions and boats offshore," according to NASA.
Technologies that NASA will test during the launch includes:
-improvements in telemetry
-deployment system for forming vapor clouds
The launch will also test recorders to increase the rates for data obtained and transferred during flight, according to NASA.
