The 2015 Chevrolet Corvette Stingray will reach U.S. dealerships in September, according to a company press release.
The vehicle will come with a few updates, including an orange metallic exterior paint job that a number of Mustang fans have been requesting.
New options packages, including a ZF1 appearance package that adds the cosmetic elements of the Z51 performance package, will be available for the 2015 Corvette.
New appearance packages will also be made available, including the ZF1 appearance package.
The ZF1 package comes with a body-color spoiler, and 19-inch front and 20-inch rear wheels and tires. The standard Stingray is equipped with 18-inch front and 19-inch rear wheels and tires.
The base 2014 Chevrolet Corvette Stingray Coupe is sold for $53,995, including a $995 destination fee.
Chevy said interested customers shouldn't expect much of a price change for the new model.
"Don't expect significant pricing changes," Monte Doran, a Chevrolet spokesman, said, according to the release.
The 2015 model comes equipped with an eight-speed automatic transmission, along with a new video-recording system, and performance data system, according to Doran.
Two new exterior colors will be available for the 2015 model: Shark Gray Metallic and Daytona Sunrise Orange Metallic. These options replace Lime Rock Green Metallic, and Cyber Gray Metallic.
"Consumers have been asking for the orange exterior paint color," Doran said. "Corvette fans are color conscious."
Consumers can pick either a "carbon flash" badges with a dark gray look, or chrome badges, according to Chevy.
The 2015 Stingray also comes with new wheel designs and 4G LTE capability.
Dealers will start taking orders for the 2015 Corvette Stingray this July. Pricing is expected to be announced around that time.
