2014 Hyundai Accent Priced at $15,455

The base 2014 Hyundai Accent GLS with a six-speed manual transmission will be made available for $15,455, including an $810 destination fee, according to the automaker.

The new price reflects a $115 price increase compared to the 2013 model.

New standard features that customers can expect includes sliding sun visors, a one-touch triple turn signal, and a driver's blind spot mirror, according to the company press release.

Hyundai's standard audio system was updated for the Accent to improve voice recognition, button layout, and sound.

Fuel economy ratings are the same as its predecessors, listed by the automaker at 27 city, 38 highway.

The optional B&M Racing sport shifter available for the SE five-door options, according to Hyundai.

The Accent does not come with satellite navigation however.

Hyundai also confirmed the price for the 2014 Accent five-door model, which will be sold for a base price of $17,205, including shipping.

The Hyundai Accent competes with similar vehicles like the Ford Fiesta and Nissan Versa.
