Pachter has also estimated PlayStation sales have reached around the 3 million mark, but wouldn't confirm anything yet.

The PS4 sells for $399 in the U.S.

Robert W. Baird & Co analyst Colin Sebastian had predicted both devices would reach 3 million sales by mid-December, according to Reuters.
