Ferrari has created a unique 2013 Ferrari 458 Italia to honor Formula 1 racer Niki Lauda.
The special model was built to celebrate the September launch of the movie "Rush," which depicts one of the most important Formula 1 championships of all-time. The movie was based on the 1976 Formula 1 rivary between Lauda and James Hunt.
The vehicle's owner has yet to be identified, according to Edmunds.
"A Prancing Horse owner has decided to personalize his new 458 Italia in the livery that featured on the Maranello cars back in the golden age that covered the mid-70s," said Ferrari in a statement.
The 458 is red, with a white roof emblazoned with the Italian flag. It was created thanks to the company's Tailor Made customization program.
Ferrari feels that Lauda's time as a driver was one of the "happiest and most productive eras in the history of the Scuderia."
The vehicle is powered by a 4.5-liter V-8 engine capable of 557 hp and 398 lb-ft of torque, paired with a seven-speed dual-clutch transmission.
The cost of the vehicle has also not been identified yet.
