Drivers can find better deals on short-term auto insurance through a new online tool, Auto Pros USA.

The site generates temporary auto insurance rates for times when drivers rent vehicles, hold special events or otherwise need a short-term insurance plan, said a press release.

The Auto Pros database includes providers nationwide, and the site's system works to find the most affordable prices for drivers.

"Some of the best providers of short-term insurance coverage can now be found using our system and this system is completely free of charge for drivers to use online," said an Auto Pros spokesperson.

The database, which boasts a large number of providers and affordable prices, is used daily and provides multiple types of insurance plans to the public.

"The insurer database is now updated each day with new quotes information that can be used by a driver in the U.S. to find and compare the best policy providers," said the spokesperson.

While lack of coverage options can be a problem when drivers are looking for temporary insurance plans, the providers that quote policies through the site offer multiple types of insurance protection, said the press release.

Auto Pros can find providers who will offer more coverage with short-term insurance plans than standard companies, said the press release.

Many drivers are paying too much for their insurance, according to the Auto Pros website. They can "literally save hundreds of dollars" after finding a better rate, says the site.

Auto Pros recommends that drivers review their insurance plans at least twice a year to get the best deal. While most people prefer working with a small insurance company, these local agencies can raise insurance rates above the national average, the site says.

With plenty of local agencies across the country, the Auto Pros national insurance finder can locate small insurance agencies in cities across the U.S.
