Oscar-winner Clint Eastwood showed up to a press event held in California by Cadillac to introduce the new Elmiraj Concept.

Eastwood was seen walking around the concept vehicle with design chief Ed Welburn and other GM officials according to USA Today.

The actor/director/ producer talked with them about a number of things including the car and joked about the turkey and other wildlife that could be seen on the hills near the Pebble Beach event.

"This car makes a bold statement and that's what we were looking for," said Senior Vice President, Global Cadillac Bob Ferguson to Edmunds.

The vehicle will be powered by a 500-hp, 4.5-liter V-8 engine according to Cadillac. The engine uses technology from the basic twin-turbo V6 found in the CTS Vsport.

New features and specs include rear seats with a valet function that slides the front and the rear seats forward according to the automaker. The seats can be reclined as well.

A 10-inch touchscreen is also standard for navigation.

"We wanted to make a statement, the second chapter of luxury," says Clay Dean, executive director of advanced design, according to USA Today. "There has to be a core essence of what made us great."
