The vehicle has been completely restored after long and expensive repairs were completed to make the car look as it did when JFK received it.

The car has a clear title with "absolutely no previous damage" according to the seller.

Auchincloss purchased the vehicle, which was fastest luxury sedan at that time, back in 1957. The vehicle is equipped with a 210 hp and the car can reach top speeds of 120 mph.

Every part was disassembled and restored to factory condition including expensive nuts a bolts rotisserie restoration according to the seller.

The body was sandblasted and stripped to bare metal, and the wood and leather are also in tip-top shape.

The Jaguar Mark 1 became Jackie's and JFK's "primary vehicle" during their time at a 46 acre Virginia estate called Merrywood.

The Kennedy family spent family time and vacations at the Merrywood estate and as JFK recovered from two back operations he wrote his Pulitzer Prize winning book "Profile of Courage" there.
