Aston Martin Vulcan has been announced to have the latest AMR Pro upgrade. The automaker claims the new aero package will increase downforce from 2,323 lb-ft to 2,950 lb-ft.

The current Aston Martin Vulcan has already established its name for being one of the fastest cars in the world. It is also considered one of the rarest cars as only 24 units were released.

Admired for its ultra-fast speed, the Vulcan runs with 7.0-liter naturally aspirated V12 engine. It also comes with a 6-speed sequential transmission.

Now, Aston Martin has just announced that the already monstrous Vulcan may now be upgraded with better performance pack. Owners of the current model may now avail of the AMR Pro pack from the brand's Le Mans-winning race cars.

The significant improvement between the original and the upgrade version is the aero aspect. The AMR Pro offers an impressive aerodynamic package. It also comes with a retuned gearbox.

Unlike the original Vulcan, the new package offers an improved capacity for the flow of air under, over and around the race car. The automaker boasts a brand new driving performance with the latest aero package.

Another major improvement is the shortening of the gear ratio. This aims to minimize lap times by making the Vulcan AMR Pro more responsive and better agility.

The latest aero package includes the new louvers, which is carbon-fiber, above the front wheel arches. These louvers are designed to reduce lift and extract air.

The nose of the race car also gets dive planes now, which is also integrated with a large splitter. These two elements are beneficial in the front-end lift and improvement of steering response. The new Vulcan will now have two dive planes on either side of the car.

With regard to the rear upgrades, the new Vulcan AMR Pro comes with the latest dual-plane rear wing that has a 20mm Gurney flap. This is extremely larger and more detailed than the usual wing of a car. Whereas, the automaker provides 15mm Gurney flaps for the slotted endplates.

According to the brand, this new aero package has a huge impact on the race car. It promises to increase downforce from 2,323 lb-ft to 2,950 lb-ft.

The new Aston Martin Vulcan AMR Pro will most likely excite the fortunate 24 car owners. Would you also want to have one? Witness the new beast in action at the Goodwood Festival of Speed this weekend.
