The Toyota Venza: Versatile Crossover SUV

The Toyota Venza holds a great dilemma whether the car is an SUV or traditional station wagon. The Venza has a versatile and comfortable five-passenger crossover SUV, which is powered by a standard drivetrain of 181-horsepower four-cylinder.

The Venza is a combination of Toyota Camry Sedan and a Highlander Crossover, which was introduced last 2009 at the North America International Auto Show in Detroit. Venza defined as strength and power, therefore, the SUV has an exceptional ruggedness.

The Toyota SUV is designed at the Calty Design Studios in Newport Beach, California. The Venza has standard feature, which includes fog lamps and 19-inch alloy wheels. It also has a HomeLink, six-disc CD channel and an XM satellite radio.

It also features dual-zone climate control, electrochromic auto-dimming rearview mirror, and steering-wheel-mounted audio controls. The Hill-Start assist control and Smart Key System are offering numerous packages such as HID lighting and voice-activated touch screen.

The Toyota Venza has the base price increased by $200 in 2011. In 2012, it raised $240 in MSRP. It said that the SUV has a combination of powertrain from LE and XLE models. The Venza is powered by a V6 engine and in front-wheel drive powertrain.

It also offers a six-speed automatic transmission with Overdrive, Gate Type Shifter, Lock Up Torque Converter, and Transmission Cooler. Its safety navigation gives a powerful boost. Venza features traction control, electronic brakeforce distribution, vehicle stability control and brake assist.

The cars' tire-pressure monitoring system has active head restraints for front seat passengers and three-point seatbelts. It comes with headrests for all seats and an emergency locking retractors (ELR). For all seats, it comes with automatic locking retractors (ATR) and Lower Anchors and Tethers for Children (LATCH) for rear outboard seats.

The Toyota Venza has seven standard airbags, which fuel pump with airbag deployment. It has dual-stage front airbags and front seat-mounted side airbags. It also comes with driver's knee airbag and two-row side curtain airbags.
