Ferrari 488 GTB does not only deliver unparalleled performance, but it also makes that extreme power exploitable and controllable to an unprecedented level even by lesser expert drivers. Ferrari enthusiasts will love this model.

The Car Connection reported that the 2017 Ferrari 488 GTB is equipped with the latest 3.9-liter turbocharged V-8 engine. It has 660 horsepower, at 8,000 rpm and 560 pound-feet of torque at 3,000 rpm. That is 63 more horsepower and 162 more pound-feet of torque than Ferrari 458 Italia. This is the most powerful Spider engine for Ferrari so far. Ferrari 488 GTB can get from 0-60mph in less than three seconds, or to 124 mph in 8.3 seconds. EPA rates the car at 15mpg city, 22mpg highway, 18mpg combined.

The 488 GTB offers more accessible handling. Equipped with Side Slip Control 2, it is working together with the electronic differential, and stability control system to help the driver slip quicker out of corners. Spider models are equipped with a different exhaust system that can produce about 1 dB more across the rev range. Ferrari 488 GTB has a multi-function steering wheel, a control switch bridge, and plush bucket seats. The shape of the air vents is also new which gives the interior more modern and better-detailed look.

The infotainment system has Apple CarPlay capability, as well as some sport-driving functionality, and an optional, full-fledged racing telemetry system. There is also a high-end audio option with 12 speakers and a 1,280-watt amp. There are plenty of ways to add exclusivity to the Ferrari 480 GTB, starting from wheels and brakes to various accessories.

Cars Guide reported that Ferrari GTB costs $460,988. There is plenty of customization to be done on the car but it all costs excessive amounts of money. The company is charging $21,730 for Vintage Paint, $2700 for some gold paint on the calipers, $19,000 for two-tone daubing on the roof, $10,500 for optional wheels, $15,000 for carbon-fiber driver’s seat, $1250 for special thick stitching on that same seat. The list goes on. There is Passenger Display that allows the passenger to watch the speed, gear position and more on their screen. That option costs $7350. Apple CarPlay also costs $6,790.
