The popular "Ark: Survival Evolved" has a lot of developments and updates underway which is sure to keep fans excited and waiting in anticipation. The updates include a better version to be released early next week and an experiment which proves to be disappointing for avid gamers.

According to Express UK, the "Ark: Survival Evolved" update 254 arrived on PC in the first week of February 2017. Such update brings a whole collection of new content which also includes Tek Tier 1 end-game items. Fans are now able to craft new items to have new power armor which brings their own special abilities.

The fans of the game, "Ark: Survival Evolved" first received the update this week and PS4 and Xbox One users are still waiting for the update in their respective consoles. Not to worry because Studio Wildcard co-founder Jeremy Stieglitz was able to make the official announcement of its release for consoles PS4 and Xbox One.

According to Stieglitz, the official release for gaming consoles will be on February 12, 2017. Gaming fans using Xbox One and PS4 barely have a week to wait. Come early next week, they will also be able to enjoy the updated version which PC users have already experienced since early this week.

The new console performance boost is a good addition for fans who are accustomed to low-frame rates and glitches. However, there are also other updates thrown in as well.

Tek Tier for "Ark" will be implemented in several phases. However, the first phase will be coming this month for both PS4 and Xbox One players such as TEK Helmet, TEK Boots, TEK Pants, TEK Shirt, TEK Gauntlets, TEK Rifle, TEK Rex Saddle, TEK Replicator, and TEK Transmitter.

However, according to PC Gamer, Studio Wildcard is thinking of removing the capability to tame dinosaurs as part of an experiment. The "Ark: Survival Evolved" developers are thinking if fans and players will still enjoy the game as much even without such capability.

No cause for alarm, though. This will only be a limited test to determine if people like playing the game without their pets. Dinosaurs will be around as per usual but won't be able to pet or interact nicely with them.

This experiment may not be as appealing to some of the fans of "Ark: Survival Evolved." It is understandable as many are accustomed to the taming capacity. At least, it won't affect all gamers and the official announcement will soon be released for those who will be affected by the experiment.
