You Don’t Have to Buy A Cadillac, Just Subscribe And It’s Yours To Use

The marketing trend in smart phone tech is slowly being applied to cars. One does not need to buy a Cadillac anymore. The company simply wants customers to subscribe to their cars.

As reported by Cantech Letter, this option may be obtained by using the new service "Book by Cadillac" which is planned for release in February in New York City.  The service gives its users the right to use Cadillac vehicles without worrying about registration, amortizations, and other car-related stress.

The monthly fee is $1,500 or depending on the type of car to be car chosen by the user.  Payments are made on a month to month basis so the user is not tied down by a contract as to how long and which car the user intends to use.

If the user wants to change car models, he may do so up to 18 times in one year. Insurance is included in the membership package so the user does not have worry about insurance coverage. Mileage is not restricted so the user can travel as much as he wants using the car.

The V-series, Escalade, XT5, and CT6 are all available to "Book Of Cadillac" users. The only restriction is some road conditions that The V-Series may not be recommended for.

As recently pointed out by MarketWatch, the number of car ownerships has been declining consistently. Car services like Uber, Car2Go and Lyft might have something to do with the decline and Cadillac is finding ways not be affected by the decline.

The "Book by Cadillac' is unique and different from car rental services like those offered by Kayak.com.  These services are expensive and require the users to get their own insurance. There is also some additional payment when the user prefers a luxury car. It is a convenient service where the user contacts Cadillac through an app and the car model requested will be delivered to the user's doorstep by a team of car mechanics that will setup the car to the user's preference.
