The first-person shooter team-based multiplayer video game, "Overwatch," developed and published by Blizzard Entertainment is up for a big change.

According to news24h.my-homeip.com, Blizzard Entertainment would be releasing an update that would revamp the leveling system of the game. Some players are worried because this change might only be a cash grab to sell more loot boxes. Originally, a player would be receiving a loot box which contains various skins, sprays, and voice lines to the player's character.

One of the big change is the addition of a new character, a hacker "Sombra" and the new "Arcade" mode game. The leveling system after the change would make leveling up easier and higher level players would be able to earn loot boxes. The first few levels would easily reach since it would only require lesser XP for the level up. Upon reaching Level 100, the player would prestige and their level would go back to Level 1. After the prestige, the player would be able to earn loot boxes before they hit Level 24.

Before the update, the common practice of the players is to play continuously until they reach Level 100. Upon reaching the level, the player would stop playing and wait for the launch of the "Overwatch" event given by Blizzard every few month. The "Overwatch" event would give additional skins and items in the game and this would be the only time that the player would prestige to gain more from the event.

Now, the players cannot plan on their prestige anymore where upon reaching Level 100, they automatically would have a prestige. Blizzard also gave a great change that would invite players to play more of "Overwatch". When the player already had prestige, lesser XP would be needed to level up. XP needed in Levels 1 to 13 is unchanged, the player would only need 20,000XP to level-up in each level after reaching Level 100, according to Tech Times.

Change is really constant in this world, but the big change that Blizzard gave the "Overwatch" players an easier way to earn loot boxes and easier way to level up.
