OnePlus 4 Will Be More Than What Apple's and Samsung's Flagship Can Offer

Cell phone consumers are becoming increasingly disillusioned with the big players in the cellphone market.  Samsung has products that seem to be catching fire and Apple continually exaggerate minor tweaks and are continually marred with questions about their billion tax avoidance scheme.  So where can a customer look now for a reliable handset?

Well, think OnePlus 4.   This handset which is rumoured to be released early 2017 will have everything that an iPhone and Samsung handset has, but with one incredible feature that the others don't - Dual sim cards.

Dual SIM

Dual sims enable someone to run two phone numbers from the one handset.  This means you can make calls and SMS from your business and personal numbers from the one device.  No more carrying around two phones.

Security

Security is increasingly a problem with handsets an attractive target for thieves.   One-plus four will be as safe as an iPhone with Androids Oxygen OS system coming standard with Googles FRP or Factory reset protection.  So just like apples FMIP, the Google reset protection renders the handset useless to thieves.  It may also come with the fingerprint scanner.

Performance

A massive 8 Gb of ram will push the Snapdragon Qualcomm CPU out to 3.2 Gigahertz, which is faster than the iPhone 7.  But the internal memory will be comparable at 32 Gb, 64 Gb and 128 Gb which is the same as your average iPhone or Samsung device.

Graphics

The phone comes with a 5.5 inch 4K curved screen able to stream 3D movies but most importantly it is protected by Gorilla glass which is said to be able to survive a drop of 2 metres.

Camera

Finally, this phone is anticipated to have a crystal clear 22-megapixel rear camera with an autofocus laser and eye sensor and a standard front 8-megapixel camera for selfies.

So the OnePlus 4 will have the same speed, memory, graphics and cameras as the $1200 iPhones and Samsung devices, plus the dual-sim but at a quarter of the price at around $420.
