Fred Lambert published a report on how to figure out one's place in the Tesla Model 3's pre-order queue. It was initially reported that the California-based EV maker raked in almost half a million in pre-orders.

However, the pre-order list was weeded out of possible duplicate orders. Tesla then disclosed that the final numbers of its initial pre-orders has decreased. The reservation for the Tesla Model 3 has reached 373,000 as of June.

High anticipation is evident in the US. An early order could mean a benefit from their $7,500 Federal tax credit system. Once, Tesla starts to sell more than 200,000 of its car the credit would drop in half its price.

This was the reason a lot wanted to know their place in the queue, after they placed their order on the Tesla's most affordable EV. Tesla has been noted to take on its delivery date based on when the order was placed.

Lambert, went on his report on how the non-sequential reservation could help you out. He shared a very intricate process on how one's 'common _reservation_ id' numbers could help in the process. The speculators went as far as comparing everyone's "common_reservation_id" and shared theories on how it could determine their order rank. They even came up with a public "Google Doc" where those with reservations could enter their details to compare. Currently, there are around 350 entries to date.

Let's take a look at that Google document list, which shows details volunteered by Tesla Model 3 early birds. Then out of that list we can play with it and see how countries ranked based on their Tesla Model 3 pre-orders.

Outside North America, China leads the rest of the world in the number of Tesla Model 3 orders placed. Other than the US and China, Germany takes the first place. The next country is the United Kingdom. Third would be Norway. In the fourth place is the Netherlands. Tied at fifth place is Spain and Sweden. Switzerland comes as sixth. The seventh spot were shared by Australia, Belgium and France.

It was earlier reported that China was the 2nd country that had the most number of orders worldwide. In Asia, it was followed by Japan, then Korea at third in the region.
