Shots and videos were taken by Ferrari Club Espana, as the newest Ferrari is spotted out and about in Barcelona. Though all the in-depth technical details are kept secret till its debut, some of the car details are out, and the name of this new jaw-dropping sports car is now confirmed.

The previous open-top cars by Ferrari also takes the name Aperta, one of the latest being the Ferrari 458 Speciale Aperta, that was launched last 2014.

Production is very limited and according to reports, there will be only 70 units for this car. Also, the available examples were sold out, and the order book for the LaFerrari Aperta is already closed.

Though it's all over a new model, the powertrain is identical to other LaFerrari's having 6.3-liter V-12 working in conjunction paired with an electric motor. This makes a 950 horsepower output which is pretty great.

This LaFerrari is said to have modifications on its chassis, to maintain the same torsional rigidity and beam stiffness to match the coupé version.

With this model missing the roof, the same drag coefficient is guaranteed to be the same as the car's aerodynamics was also modified to its best.

The cars performance is not yet disclosed, but it is reported to reach 60 mph in under 3.0 seconds and can reach a top speed in excess of 217 mph.

The official features and details will be revealed at the Paris Auto show to start at October 1-16.
