According to the reports from Mazda and Fiat, the latest version of the Alfa Romeo will be based on the next generation of the Miata and will be produced for commercial purpose by 2015.

The official announced has been well received by ardent fans and car buyers.

Mazda, also announced that the company signed a new Memorandum Of Understanding (MoU) with the Fiat Motors on producing the latest version of the Mazda MX 5. Sources also confirm that both the car producers signed on to produce three more roadsters in the coming years depending on the success of the upcoming Alfa Romeo.

Auto experts opine that joint cooperation between the two car makers have kept the title of the new project under wraps. But sources confirm that it has been labelled as Spyder and will be produced in Japan. The process of production will start soon after the launching of the Miata in 2013.

Going with the opinion of the majority of the auto experts, the build-in feature of the Spyder will be much more similar to Miata which is lightweight in its look and smaller dimension which keeps the vehicle breaking the barriers of speed. The sources confirm that the Mazda has reportedly been planning to build a roadster which keeps up the brand of the Fiat as well as the Mazda and the vehicle is expected to be more stylish as well as iconic.
