Calling all car fans: Jaguar is teasing its upcoming all-new XE sedan with an online configurator so potential buyers and auto enthusiasts can play around with color and interior options at home. To tide you over until the Jaguar's planned launch in 2016, here are five online tools to let you build your dream car.

1. 2017 Jaguar XE

Jaguar has launched a configurator for the new 2017 XE so car fans can outfit their ideal Jaguar sedan.

The 2017 XE, which was unveiled at last week's Paris Motor Show, will give customers plenty of choices with 13 available colors for the exterior, Edmunds.com reported.

Coming to U.S. showrooms in early 2016, the all-new Jaguar XE compact sedan will be available in three trim levels: XE, XE R-Sport and XE S.

The configurator lets consumers test out 10 options for wheels that include 19-inch Venom five twin-spoke wheels in black and 18-inch Matrix seven twin-spoke wheels in silver. The two choices for headlights are halogen and bi-function HID Xenon headlights, while the options for the interior include Jet Luxtec, Latte Luxtec and Light Oyster Luxtec.

The Jaguar XE competes with the Audi A4/S4, BMW 3 Series and Mercedes-Benz C-Class.

2. Lamborghini Huracán

The Italian brand launched a configurator for the Lamborghini Huracán in February that lets you pick from a variety of exterior paint colors as well as interior options that include leather color and branding preferences. Fans go through eight steps to complete their dream car.

The exterior offers the option between a standard engine bonnet and a transparent option that includes a forged composite engine bay, while the inside features a plethora of trim color options ranging from standard gray to more unusual shades such as yellow and orange.

3. 2015 Dodge Challenger SRT Hellcat

The Hellcat configurator gives potential buyers the options of nine exterior paint options, including the classic Pitch Black Clear Coat as well as the unusually bright Sublime Green Pearl. The Ivory White Tri-Coat Pearl and Phantom Black Tri-Coat Pearl options will each cost $500 extra.

For the powertrain, the Hellcat comes standard with a six-speed manual transmission, while the eight-speed automatic option costs $1,995 extra. Inside, the car features leather-trimmed bucket seats in the base trim. Premium Laguna Leather seats are also available for $1,795 extra, while red seat belts will add $95 to the price.

4. Rolls-Royce Lineup

Rolls-Royce has a lush lineup of configurator options that includes four versions of the Phantom model and two versions of the Ghost as well as the Wraith. The Phantom is available in the standard trim level, extended wheelbase, coupe and drophead coupe versions.

The automaker says the Wraith package "encapsulates the dynamic essence of Wraith" with features such as 21-inch seven-spoke alloy wheels, a fixed glass roof, headrest monograms and driver assistance systems. The interior options include leather detailing on the seats and headrests as well as 10 veneer coverings such as Mahogany and Oak Burr.

5. Maserati Ghibli

The Maserati Ghibli, which was famously showcased in an epic Super Bowl ad last year, has 13 exterior color options that range from Champagne to Grigio Metallo to Blu Emozione. As detailed in the configurator, its six wheel options range from the 18-inch Alfieri to the 21-inch Titano Anthracite.

Besides the base package, the Phantom can come in premium, cold weather, technology, executive, executive plus, sport and technology plus packages. Extras for the outside include a power sunroof and adaptive bi-xenon headlights.
