The 2015 Chevrolet Silverado Rally Editions will start heading to dealerships on September 4, according to General Motors.

Double cab Rally Editions can be ordered by Chevy dealers around the U.S. starting next month.

Crew cabs will be available for order starting in October. An official date has not been announced by the automaker.

Chevrolet's full-size pickup was redesigned completely for the 2014 model.

The Rally 2 Edition package for the 2015 Silverado LT is listed for $7,160-$7,260, minus a $1,350 option-package discount, Chevrolet spokesman Tom Wilkinson confirmed to Edmunds.

The Rally 1 package for WT and LS Silverado pickups is priced at $1,140, minus a $600 option-package discount.

Wilkinson said overall pricing on the 2015 Silverado isn't available yet. Interested customers should expect pricing to be announced on Chevrolet.com "soon."

"We are drawing on our heritage a bit," Wilkinson said in response to Edmunds. "We have done Rally and Rally Sport packages in the past. (We're) trying to select items that work well with the design of our trucks.

The Rally 2 Edition package comes with 22-inch black alloy wheels, black tubular side steps and black mirror caps and door handles, and a body-colored grille with a black bowtie.

Twin black Rally stripes on the hood and tailgate are also included, according to the automaker.

The Rally 1 Edition package features black door handles and mirror caps, two black rally stripes, and a body-colored grille with black bowtie.

Additional features include automatic locking rear differential, dual-zone climate control, back-up camera, 10-way power driver seat, and rear defroster.

Wilkinson said to Edmunds that he couldn't "pinpoint an exact competitor" to the Rally Editions.

Competitors to the new Silverado includes the RAM 1500, Toyota Tundra, and Ford F-150, among others.
