Filming for "Fast & Furious 7" was completed this week, according to a note posted by the cast and crew on the film's Facebook page.

"Today we completed the last shot in the production of "Fast & Furious 7." We wanted to take this moment to express how thankful we are for your support," the letter reads. "We felt the love and strength from our fans throughout this journey, and it's because of you that we got here."

Since Paul Walker was killed last November in a car crash, the cast and crew have been open with fans about the film, taking their advice on whether or not the movie should even still be made and if Walker's character should still be included in the film.

"There was a time when we didn't know how we could go on, or even if we should. But we listened to you, and you inspired us not only to keep going but to try and make the best Fast & Furious movie yet," the letter reads.

"Fast and Furious 7" will hit theaters on April 3, 2015.

The movie was originally supposed to be released this week before production was stopped after Walker was killed.

The heartfelt note cites star Vin Diesel as the leader that held the cast together after Walker's death.

Co-stars Michelle Rodriguez, Jordana Brewster, Michelle Rodriguez, Dwayne Johnson, Tyrese Gibson and Chris "Ludacris" Bridges were also mentioned as important pieces that made the process of completing the film a lot easier.

"Our family is big and strong but it won't ever quite be whole again without Paul," reads the note

Over 315,000 people have liked the note, which is accompanied by a photo of Diesel, as of press time.
