Audi has announced pricing on three new models that are expected to arrive at dealerships later this summer.
The 2015 Audi A3 family includes the 2015 Audi S3 performance sedan, A3 Cabriolet and A3 TDI clean diesel sedan, Edmunds.com reported. The lineup, which competes with the 2015 Acura ILX, Buick Verano and Mercedes-Benz CLA250, has two models that haven't been previously offered in the U.S.
The 2015 Audi S3 starts at $41,995, which includes an $895 shipping fee. This summer marks the first time the S3 sedan has been available in the U.S., according to Edmunds.
Equipped with a 292-horsepower 2-liter four-cylinder engine, the sedan has S3 sport suspension and 18-inch wheels. Larger wheels of 19 inches are also available as an option. Inside, the Audi S3 features a leather multifunction sport steering wheel and standard shift paddles.
Pricing starts at $33,495 including $895 in destination fees for the 2015 A3 TDI clean diesel sedan, which has front-wheel drive. The sedan runs on a 150-horsepower 2-liter four-cylinder engine.
Also being offered for the first time in the U.S., the 2015 Audi A3 Cabriolet 1.8T FWD S tronic has a starting price of $36,525, including a $925 destination fee. Its soft cloth top moves at the push of a button to open or close in less than 18 seconds while the car is driving at 31 miles per hour or less.
