Fiat Chrysler Automobiles has announced that the new Chrysler 100 compact sedan will reach dealerships in the spring of 2016.
The automaker believes that the Chrysler 100 will target other mainstream sedans like the Honda Civic, Toyota Corolla, and the Ford Focus.
The size of the Chrysler lineup will double in the next four or five years, which will include a new full-size crossover vehicle and a new midsize crossover.
The full-size crossover vehicle will hit showrooms in spring 2017, and the new midsize crossover is set for a spring 2018 release.
A hybrid version of the full-size crossover will be released sometime in fall 2017.
The Chrysler 300 sedan will receive a face lift later this year, and a redesigned Chrysler Town & Country minivan is expected in the fall of 2016.
Since the Dodge Grand Caravan is being discontinued at the end of the 2015 model year, the redesigned Chrysler Town & Country minivan will be the only minivan offered by the automaker.
A plug-in hybrid version of the Town & Country minivan is coming in fall 2016.
The recently-released Chrysler 200 will get a mid-cycle makeover sometime in mid-2017.
In spring 2018, the redesigned Chrysler 300 should hit dealerships, according to the automaker.
