While plenty of couples meet on Twitter, these two people became known on the social networking site when they started tweeting everything they fight about.

Since last August, Alan Linic and Claire Meyer have posted a tweet detailing every single thing they fight about under the handle--surprise--@WeFoughtAbout. The account has garnered them an impressive 21,000 followers while the tweets about their disagreements have racked up plenty of favorites and retweets.

While a constantly bickering couple sounds obnoxious, Linic and Meyer's tweets are actually sweet and hilarious and reveal their love for each other. They apparently take turns writing the tweets, which are generally in the third person, depending on the reason they fought.

"Alan kept knocking my character over in the Lego Harry Potter game" was the reason for their fight on Feb. 15. An earlier fight in December was because "Claire didn't give me her bad news right away."

This week, the pair had an extremely special message to share.

"No Fights Today: We're Engaged!!!" announced a tweet dated March 3.

Linic and Meyer talked to Betabeat to share their story--this time in more than 140 characters at once.

The Twitter account has been a positive thing since they have been able to relate to other couples, they told the outlet.

"We had just finished a fight that started from something ridiculous," Meyer remembered. "We can't even remember what it was now, but we had said that if [we] posted about it no one would believe us. We started the feed, and were shocked to see how many people had similar fights or really related to it."

Linic proposed by decorating their home to recreate their first date and then getting down on one knee, Meyer told Betabeat in an email.

What's next for the Twitter celebrity couple? A lot of disagreements about wedding planning, probably.

"I hope people are ready for really boring fights on seating arrangements and the like," Meyer said. "Our followers were so excited about the engagement though! It was amazing to get an outpouring of support from all over the world. We are two lucky idiots."
