Park Assist System has become indispensable to those who struggle with parallel parking space. It's a useful feature if you have limited parking space. Even very experienced people in city parking still seem to struggle when they have to find space to park in smaller than usual parking spaces.

 Advantages of Parking Sensors

It helps reduce the blind spots around the vehicle which goes a long way to ease pressure and difficulty of parking in small parking spaces.

If you're a driver you know well how just finding and parking a car in a busy and tight space can be a big cause of fatigue. This technology helps to greatly reduce that fatigue.

This technology is designed to improve the view of the area behind the vehicle to eliminate or reduce the chances of damage to the vehicle or other nearby vehicles.

Minor Limitations of Parking Sensors

The sensors for now, cannot detect flat or vertical objects of a very thin section. This is a key limitation but it can be improved upon with time.

If mud, snow or any other substances cover it's surface the sensor will fail to work. This is a minor limitation. You can work around it by simply ensuring your sensor is always cleaned and ready to work.

This parking technology has come to stay though it still needs some minor improvements but so far it has saved cost, time and efficiency. With the population of cities increasing the need for this technology will be more appreciated.
