The Porsche 911 GT2 RS is finally coming this summer. Not only that, but it is reported to be more powerful. Definitely, some power that it really deserves. Different speculations have gone out as spies wait for its arrival. This summer is the time to check if the spied details are accurate or not.

The first official specs of Porsche 911 GT2 RS are now made available. It looks like theories derived from its spy shots prove to be accurate. Well, the GT2 RS is powered by a 3.8-liter engine from the Turbo S. However, the GT2 RS has larger turbochargers that give even more boost. Its newly developed exhaust system achieves an optimum performance because of its lightweight construction.

The GT2 RS' performance needs less than three seconds to complete zero to 62 mph and under nine seconds to complete zero to 124 mph. This is given the fact that it may well reach a top speed of 211 mph.

The last model has been able to produce 612-horsepower so the GT2 RS is expected to be even better. The upcoming one may produce over 641-horsepower or even 650-horsepower and 553 pound-feet of torque.

The engine is not just a Turbo S engine with more boost. The engine also has better and improved internals and titanium exhaust. It will send all of its power to the rear wheels (only through Porsche's PDK dual-clutch transmission). There is no manual available, however, it is important to note that RS models have always been an impressive performer.

Well, the complete totality of the Porsche 911 GT2 RS will finally be revealed this summer. It will only be a few more months before everyone gets to see this interesting ride in actuality. For one, it will bear serious hole in one's pocket for having a $200,000 price tag. For the rich and famous, that's nothing.
