New Acer Nitro 5 Notebook Announced; Choose The Configuration Options For Your Gaming Pleasures

The New Acer Nitro 5 has just been announced yesterday and gamers will surely love this. The new notebook is being offered with a variety of configurations, depending on one's lifestyle, gaming needs and budget.

The first configuration option being offered comes with NVIDIA-GeForce-GTX 1050 Ti graphics matched with 7th Generation Intel Core i7 or i5 processors. Another configuration option is the model with AMD Radeon RX550 graphics with 7th Generation AMD A-Series FX, A12 or A10 APUs. Both options carry the new Windows 10 and has up to 32GB of DDR4 2 400MHz of memory.

Moreover, both options perform well in accelerating boot-up time and shortening in-game loading times because of the standard components. The new Acer Nitro 5 has super-fast PCIe SSDs (up to 512GB). Buyers can opt to add the HDD for more storage of up to 2TB.

Boosting the speed of the new notebook is its Gigabit Ethernet port that produces fast and dependable wired connection. It also features the 802.11ac 2x2 MIMO wireless technology that gives extremely fast wireless connectivity.

In terms of heat management, the new notebook is equipped with a thermal solution to boost non-stop gaming and optimal system run. The new Nitro 5 contains dual fans with Acer Coolboost technology that produces improved fan speed and cooling ability. The new Acer Coolboost technology can also be controlled manually by the users, especially for cases when usage is heavy and requires additional boost.

With regard to ports, the new notebook offers a comprehensive selection such as one USB 3.1 Type-C (Gen 1) port, two USB 2.0 ports, one USB 3.0 port with power-off charging, and an HDMI 2.0 port that supports up to 90Hz refresh rates.

For the aesthetic side, the sophisticated 15.6-inch FHD (1920 x 1080) IPS[ii] Acer Nitro 5 comes with a matte black chassis and a hairline finish. The keyboards wears red backlighting, creating a beautiful contrast to the black body. In addition, a stylish red hinge extends at the back of the new notebook, and below it is a bold black grill vent.

The new Acer Nitro 5 will hit the stores in July with a base price of $799 in North America, and a ¥5,499 ($800) price tag in China. It has also been scheduled to be released in EMEA in August with a €1,099 ($1,200) price tag.

Meanwhile, aside from the Nitro 5, Acer has simultaneously announced its new Spin 1 convertible notebook as well. The new Acer Spin 1 boasts of its lightweight, superb hardware, sleek design, and innovative features for a cheap price tag of $329, coming out in July in North America and EMEA.
