The 2017 BMW M4 Competition Package may be considered an impressive convertible with some experts in agreement. This may not be completely hardcore, but does boast of adequate power and performance enough to satisfy the needs of its drivers.

For one, the 2017 BMW M4 Competition Package is considered as the faster and stiffer counterpart of the standard BMW M4. It is more powerful for having additional 19-bhp, making it capable of producing 444-horsepower. It also has updated and revised dampers, 20-inch rims and a recalibrated electric differential between the rear ones.

The Competition Package is not aimed to have so much of performance enhancements. It, however, heavily relies on marketing. It does make perfect sense. The M4 cost around $60,000. Adding a little bit more cash can get one the 2017 M4 Competition Package.

The M4 Convertible was the star of 2017 New York International Auto Show back in April. BMW chose to showcase its convertible in Yas Marina Blue color which was made popular by F80 M3 Sedan.

It was loaded with several package options such as Driver Assistance, Executive Package, Lightning Package and of course the Competition Package. The Competition Package not only boasts 444-horsepower, its 406 pound-feet of torque makes it even more powerful. It was powered by 3.0-liter inline-6, which makes it accelerate from zero to 60 mph in 4.0-seconds effortlessly.

The 2017 BMW M4 Competition Package also comes in with a custom-made adaptive suspension with specific springs for enhanced road performance in any given terrain. It is equipped with dampers and anti-roll bar settings as earlier reported. Its radio system did get considerable improvement as well.

The 2017 BMW M4 Competition Package is a good upgrade to the standard M4 Convertible. Practical may not be the best word to describe it but it is a good investment. For additional cash, one is expected to get features that are not present in the standard M4.
