Toyota has just revealed the price tag for the refreshed 2018 Toyota Yaris. The automaker launched the new Yaris just earlier this year at the New York Auto Show.

The refreshed 2018 Toyota Yaris will feature a revised look that includes a new fascia with Toyota's wide-mouthed aesthetic, similar to the newly updated Sienna minivan. The aesthetic did look much better than on the minivan, but the looks remain polarizing.

The Yaris extra chrome trim adds a little shine to the car's appearance. The top SE trim comes with a black piano mesh that is located at the front end. At the rear, designers have decided to upgrade the look of the horizontal taillights, which accentuate to the vehicle's width. Also, customers will have an option to choose from two new color schemes: Blue Eclipse and two-tone Blue Eclipse with a Black Sand Pearl Roof.

There are also some significant improvements on the inside. The lowest grades now will come with a 6.1-inch touchscreen infotainment system that includes Siri Eyes Free and Bluetooth. The base trims will also have an updated instrument panel and tilting, and a three-spoke steering wheel with audio controls.

The top SE trim will add some extra cost that adds even more amenities. On the exterior, the car will get 16-inch wheels with dark accents, a 7-inch infotainment system screen with SiriusXM satellite radio, HD radio and the ability to utilize a paired smartphone as a navigation system. The SE will only be available in a five-door configuration.

Under the hood, the Yaris is powered by a 1.5-liter four cylinder that produces 106 hp (79 kilowatts). Customers can also choose between a four-speed automatic transmission and a five-speed manual.

Furthermore, both SE models features will have a price increase of $1,060 for the 2018 model year. The refreshed 2018 Toyota Yaris has a price tag of $16,520 and will hit dealerships this summer.
