PlayStation Plus May 2017 Update; Free PS4 Games Available This Week

Apr 25, 2017 10:30 AM EDT | Anthony Hunter

Finally, the PlayStation Plus May 2017 lineup looks already set to be unveiled this coming Wednesday, April 27th, 2017. This follows the usual pattern that Sony always adopts in the past months, that's normally announced to the fans on the final Wednesday of the month.

However, Sony didn't yet make any official announcement of the release date and might change the date as well. One possible reason for the delay could be the release of Activision's big announcement of Call of Duty WW2 live stream.  This is because it's possible that there will be a tie-in news for PS4 exclusivity as well.

There isn't any credible leak or report that shows what titles will be part of the PlayStation Plus May 2017 games lineup. But some speculations and predictions are already all over the internet.

According to the newest speculations, leaks, and prediction, the possible games that could include in the May 2017 lineup are Rayman Legends, The Escapist, Hue, Neon Chrome, and Resident Evil Zero HD.

Meanwhile, the last week also revealed the remaining PlayStation Plus April 2017 games lineup. PlayStation fans will still have some time left to get their favorite games.

The games that are available for download through the PlayStation Plus include The Last of Us 2 Update and Ghost Recon Wildlands Narcos Road DLC PvP. Other April 2017 games lineup includes Drawn to Death (PS4), Alien Rage (PS3), Lovers in a Dangerous Spacetime (PS4), 10 Second Ninja X (PS Vita, Cross-Buy with PS4), Curses n' Chaos (PS Vita, Cross-Buy with PS4), and Invizimals: The Lost Kingdom (PS3).

Also, starting on April 25, fans can download the likes of Outlast 2, Little Nightmares, and Sniper Ghost Warrior 3. There are also a lot of indie titles that fans can get like Shovel Knight: Specter of Torment, Zombeer, and What Remains of Edith Finch.

The new PlayStation Plus May 2017 games lineup is already set to launch on May 2, 2017, officially. It will also be the time that Sony will refresh its PlayStation store.
