The 2017 New York Auto Show is about to sizzle as fuel-thirsty will be showcased. The media days will begin on April 12 to 13 and the public viewing will be on the 14th. From Demon-ic muscle cars to hybrid and environmentally friendly ones, to concepts, to SUVs, they will all be there.

Almost 1000 cars and trucks will be at the 2017 New York Auto Show according to the event organizers. People can finally get up close and personal for the highly anticipated ones. But before all that, we have listed some of the vehicles to be expected at the event.

2018 Dodge Challenger SRT Demon. Fiat Chrysler took everything to new heights and finally, after a series of teaser videos that seemed to have lasted a lifetime, we will feast on the 2018 Dodge Challenger SRT Demon. This will perhaps take center stage as the beast was exclusively made for drag racing, promising more power, lighter, and faster, even powerful than the Hellcat.

2018 Jeep Grand Cherokee Trackhawk. The Demon isn't the only beastly vehicle Fiat Chrysler has in store. Also attending the 2017 New York Auto Show is the track version of the Jeep Grand Cherokee housing the Hellcat's supercharged 6.2-liter V8 engine. This could perhaps be the world's most powerful SUV with its 707 horsepower. Imagine a Jeep sprinting a quarter mile in just 11 seconds.

2017 Nissan GT-R Track Edition. A variant of the iconic GT-R will be rolled out by Nissan, which is aptly called "Track Edition." It has updated the car but it still sports the standard powerplant of the GT-R.

2018 Nissan 370Z Heritage Edition. Together with the GT-R Track Edition, the 2018 Nissan 370Z Heritage Edition sports some visual tweaks. Also, a high-performance Exedy clutch for standard 6-speed manual models has been added.

2018 Range Rover Velar. After a successful global debut in Geneva, finally the stunning Range Rover Velar is coming to American shores. This vehicle sits between the Evoque and Sport in both capability and size. And it received an overwhelming response from the automotive market.

Porsche. Porsche is also taking its Panamera Sport Turismo and Panamera Turbo S E Hybrid to the 2017 New York Auto Show. That's not all. The German automaker is also taking to the show is 911 GT3, which marks its very first North American appearance following Geneva, and 911 GTS.

Infiniti QX80 Monograph concept. In its concept form, Infiniti's more handsome SUV concept, QX80 Monograph, will be revealed at the NY Auto Show. It has thrown away that bulbous look of the current model and it seems that a 2018 model year will be introduced.

That's it for now. Check out another list that will include the electric vehicles and hybrids and the sedans tomorrow in preparation for the 2017 New York Auto Show. Until then, stay tuned.
