There has been a lot of news about Tesla recently. After overtaking Ford, Elon Musk has a new Easter egg to share along with the Model 3.

In a report by Tech Radar, there is something very egg-citing about the Silicon Valley company's Easter egg for this year. The electric car manufacturer has a lot of interesting tricks and secret software hacks. Elon Musk has revealed that soon there will be a one-stop shop to discover them all!

Previously, the electric vehicle maker has given the world a lot of good Easter eggs. These usually came via vehicle software updates. One great Easter egg was the Rainbow Road, which was a psychedelic overlay similar to Mario Kart.

There was also Sketch Pad. This allowed users to doodle on the dash's touchscreen. And of course, there was the Ludicrous+ mode that was able to lower the 0 to 60 mph time to 2.4 seconds, making the Model S the fastest production car at the time. There was also the Mar Easter egg that set the navigation screen to look like the user was on the Red Planet. Finally, last year, the Model X also got an awesome music and light show for Christmas.

In a recent tweet, the CEO revealed the upcoming feature. The all-in-one Easter egg should be coming very soon! Apart from the one-stop shop, hopefully, there will be more surprises too!

In other equally exciting news, the Tesla Model 3 is getting everyone really excited. A recent report by Forbes has new data about the upcoming EV's actual price.

While it was previously announced that the Model 3 would start at $35,000, the report stated that this was inaccurate. The average price paid by most of the people who availed of the reservation was actually $42,000, with some users reserving models that were in the $44,000 to $55,000 range.

Car and Driver gives a more accurate report about the production-ready version. The upcoming EV will have a lower starting price than the Model S but will still emulate it in some respects. The styling is similar and so is the driving interface. However, the overall size is smaller, but will still have front and rear luggage compartments and an interior that can still apparently accommodate a seven-foot surfboard.

The upcoming Model 3 is the best hope for battery-electric vehicles to go mainstream. While the new Chevy Bolt is also a top contender, there is just something about Tesla that makes people excited.

The Model 3 will also share the same body structure as the upcoming Model Y. It has more high-strength steel than the aluminum-intensive Model S and Model X. It will also have an optional glass roof, full auto-pilot hardware, and other great software features.

Recently, the pre-production model was once again seen testing in the wild. As you can see from the video, it is almost ready. A lot of users also noted that the dashboard appears to have a large tablet which many hope will be removable or only for testing.

Tesla fans have a lot of be excited about for this Easter season and this year in general. What do you think about the Easter egg and the Model 3 pricing and pre-production model? Share your thoughts and comments below.
