Samsung’s flagship phones the Galaxy S8 and Galaxy S8+ are set to debut in the U.S. this month. Both phones have screens that have been rated the best ever on a smartphone.

DisplayMate Technologies is an industry standard for optimizing, calibrating, testing, evaluating and comparing all types of displays. As reported by CNBC, they have just published their analysis of Samsung’s new flagship phone, concluding that Samsung’s new displays are the best on the market.

In their report, they noted that the Galaxy S9 is the first in a new generation of OLED smartphones that have a Full Screen Display design. The display comes with major and important state-of-the-art performance enhancements, features, and functions. They also said that the Galaxy S8 has the most innovative and high performance display that they have ever tested.

Furthermore, in the report, DisplayMate points to the screen’s curved design, accurate color representation, high resolution, support for HDR video, and strong Corning Gorilla Glass 5 Protection.
Speaking of displays, this latest display technology may make its debut on the upcoming iPhone 8 as recent reports suggest that Apple has placed an order for 70 million Samsung OLED panels.
