2017 Honda Civic EX Gets Kelley Blue Book Stamp of Approval

The 2017 Honda Civic EX is making a lot of buzz in the car community lately, thanks to its slew of high-tech functionalities and futuristic features. The car has also snagged the 2017 Best Auto Tech value Award from Kelley Blue Book.

The 2017 Civic is available in five different trims. It is important to note that Kelley Blue Book recommends the EX model as the sweet spot for the best combination of tech features without paying too much.

Under the hood, the Honda Civic EX packs a 2.0-liter four-cylinder engine. It is capable of outputting 158horsepower and 138lb-ft of torque. It also packs a decent mileage at 31mpg for city and 40mpg for highway driving, according to Business Insider.

The Honda Civic EX equipped with the high-tech Sensing package costs $23,000. For this price, you will get a suite of high-tech driver assistance features.

The Sensing package has a lot of high-tech features including lane departure warning, lane keeps assist, forward collision warning, adaptive cruise control, and pre-collision braking. On top of this, the 2017 Civic EX also packs a multi-angle backup camera and Lane Watch feature which shows the view of the car's right side directly on the seven-inch touchscreen.

The Civic EX also comes with a key fob and requires only a single push of a button to start up. There is also the electronic parking brake feature that holds the brakes for the driver whenever the car is at the stoplights.

The Kelley Blue Book's consensus about the 2017 Civic EX reads, "It's hard to imagine that one of the most recommendable cars in the industry also happens to offer the latest infotainment, convenience, and safety technology at a remarkably affordable price."
