2017 Bentley Bentayga Diesel: The Most Expensive And Luxurious SUV In The World

First introduced in 2015, the Bentayga is Bentley's very first SUV. The 2017 Bentley Bentayga Diesel is the most expensive and most luxurious factory-built SUV in the world as of 2016.

Peter Guest, Bentley Product Line Director and the man referred to in Crewe as "Mr. Bentayga" said, "Bentayga is all about firsts. It was Bentley's first SUV and now it's Bentley's first diesel. In time, it will become our first plug-in hybrid."

The new 2017 Bentley Bentayga Diesel comes with four off-road modes, height-adjustable suspension, 9.2 inches of ground clearance, 22 degrees of break over, and 25-degree approach and departure angles. Bentaygas W12 powertrain makes the car the world's fastest SUV. And the Bentayga Diesel, the automaker's diesel, can travel more than 1,000 km on a full tank.

The car's aluminum exterior has a characteristic that has a performed powerline located at the front, reminiscent of Bentley's historical design, which has an optional 22-inches machined aluminum wheels. The car's interior also includes a panoramic sunroof and fine wood that is wrapped around the dash panel.

In addition, Bentley also offers buyers a lot of paint colors to choose from than with any other SUV, together with other Bentley levels of personalization. The Bentayga is also available in the widest range of seat configurations of any SUV, offering four, five, and seven seat options.

The second-row seats fold manually to allow a much easier access to the third row. But the most luxurious trim, the Bentayga Mulliner, is offered only with four-seat comfort configuration.

The new Bentayga SUV is powered by a 4.0-liter V8 engine that produces 435 hp and 664 lb-ft of torque with an electrically driven supercharger and two turbochargers. It can accelerate from 0 to 62 mph in just 4.8 seconds and has a top speed of 168 mph.

The 2017 Bentley Bentayga Diesel has a starting price from $399,000. The SUV is almost assured to become the highest volume model of the premium English brand.
