BMW 530d Review: A Car That Can Match Mercedes And Jaguar

Known for its amazing power, BMW 530d has been the talk of the town since its launch. The new car reportedly sells more than BMW 3 Series and BMW X5

Despite this, BMW still can't claim that they have created the best car in the market right now. The car still needs to surpass cars like the Mercedes E-Class and Jaguar XF.

Mercedes E-Class comes with a V6 Engine with a 2987cc diesel power. It comes with a 4,571 lb. ft. Torque and 9-speed automatic Gearbox.

On the other hand, Jaguar XF comes with a V6 Engine with 29bhp diesel power. Aside from that, the car also has a 5,161 lb. ft. of Torque.

When it comes to BMW 530d, it has 6 cyls and 2993cc diesel engine, 475 lb. ft torque and 8-speed automatic gearbox. It also has a Kerb weight of 1715 kg and it can go from 0-62 mph in 5.7 seconds.

There were critics who believe that the BMW car is actually an adequate car that can match two of the most well-known luxury cars in the market. It has a 261 horsepower and has a ZF-sourced automatic that works with the car's driving mode switch.

BMW 530d can also go to 5250 rpm when it is on manual override. The car's speed it also faster than the 530i xDrive.

It is actually known for its connectivity, it can synchronize the driver's diary with Microsoft exchange email. The car also has an advanced safety system but it might have some steering problem.

It seemed to struggle to keep the car on track in tight highway corners. There is also some difficulty in changing lanes when the turn signal stalk is pressed.

This can be a nuisance to drivers who lost their chance to access the Lane Change Assistance Function. Nevertheless, this car still one of the best cars in the market right now.

BMW still remains to be one of the most sought after cars in the US. It still not wavering on its commitment to developing affordable diesel cars. The BMW 530d can be bought in stores for just $57,525.
