The 2017 McLaren 570GT Is McLaren's Everyday Supercar

The all-new 2017 McLaren 570GT is just a bit lower than the 570S. But it's actually fine for those who find the 570S to be too much. Even so, the 570GT still brings that race car experience to the streets.

The new 570GT is sleek from any angle. Its curves start upfront and then gently slopes away at the rear. Its excellent design speaks not only of elegance but also it's built with speed in mind. This is keeping McLaren's commitment to providing performance and quality in its cars.

The 2017 McLaren 570GT is powered by the same 3.8-liter twin turbo V8 found in the 570S. The V8 engine makes 562 hp and 443 lb-ft of torque. This supercar can go from 0 to 60 mph in just 3.3 seconds. Its top speed is reported to be 204 mph.

Protection and light weight are also incorporated to the new 570GT. It has a carbon fiber cell located around the passenger's compartment. This protective hull is called the MonoCell II by McLaren. Its roofline has a glass which makes the interior much brighter during the day.

Like other top performance supercars, the new 570GT is a two-seater, but that doesn't mean it lacks space. It comes with a small rear compartment just on top of its engine bay. It can be accessed by having the hinged glass window panel opened up sideways for easier access.

Furthermore, this McLaren also offers about 80 percent of the comfort found in sport/luxury coupe. And on the flip side, it happens to have about 90 percent of the performance that is offered by the world's finest exotics, which includes that cost nearly double the McLaren's price-tag.

The 2017 McLaren 570GT is priced from £154,000 in the UK. This supercar is the most practical model ever launched by McLaren, targeted towards longer journeys and weekends away. So for those who want a supercar that has performance and comfort, this car is worth a choice.
