Tesla Head Elon Musk Created Neuralink To Make Human Cyborgs

Like a cyborg, Tesla CEO Elon Musk wants to connect human brains to computers. Musk is making this possible through his company Neuralink.

Aside from creating electric cars, he is interesting on implanting electrodes to the human brain that allows humans to have direct computing capabilities. In a tweet, Elon Musk talked about the creation of this company.

According to the Guardian, he wanted to pioneer on this because no one is doing it. It could be remembered that Musk has been interested with neural laces in previous years.

In July 2016, Elon Musk registered Neuralink as a medical research. Musk is the major financial contributor to the company.

Musk is doing this because he believes that the merging of biological and machine intelligence is necessary for humans to stay economically valuable. The Tesla CEO also noted that this will be a stepping stone for human relevancy when the world becomes dominated by artificial intelligence.

If humans become cyborgs, it will be easier to build spaceships to travel to space for a long period of time. However, there will be a need for humans to power down their brains and have a robotic body, reported Zero Hedge.

Through this, humans can travel to another habitable planet for hundreds of years at fractions of the speed of light. Once they reached their destinations, humans can just find another way to create biological bodies to repopulate humanity the old way.

It will also be easier for humans to travel to mars with a cyborg body that is controlled by an organic brain. This would be possible if Musk's company Neuralink becomes successful in making humans cyborgs.

In addition to this, Elon Musk is also planning to create a positronic brain that allows humans to upload their consciousness to live a long life. As of the moment, humans only have one directional brain-computer interface that allows motor control and communication with people with brain injuries. Only time will tell if Neuralink will be able to make cyborgs out of humans.
