It also offers in short or long-wheelbase versions, which starts at the V-6-powered XJ R-Sport, up to the V-8-powered XJ Supercharged or XJR.

The 2017 Jaguar XJ has a gorgeous interior. Everything is bathed in chrome and leather, and the long arc of the dash visually ties together wood panels and leather in a memorable way. The hood of base sends a supercharged 3.0-liter V-6 that makes 340 horsepower teamed to an 8-speed automatic. All-wheel drive helps the V-6 keep sure footing on wet or icy roads.

It has an optional 5.0-liter V-8 that gives the XJ more athletic performance and comes in two tunes. The high-top XJR can shave a half second further, or 470-hp XJ Supercharged that makes the sprint up to 60 mph in 4.9 seconds. V-8 models come with an active or rear differential that keeps power in place, but all-wheel drive is held to V-6 versions only.

The 2017 Jaguar XJ comes with dual-zone climate control, LED headlights, a 12.3-inch instrument cluster, an 8.0-inch infotainment display with an 825-watt 17-speaker Meridian stereo. Other features included are keyless ignition, Bluetooth, panoramic sunroof, a heated leather-wrapped steering wheel, leather heated and ventilated front and rear seat, adjustable front seats, and soft closing doors.

In addition to Jaguar's smartphone app, an InControl Remote allows the owner to remotely start their car's engine and pre-heat or cool the interior that also shows fuel level and can remotely lock or unlock doors and alerts owners when the car's alarm is triggered.
