Vehicles With The Worst and Least Car Complaints; Which Auto Brands Are On The List?

Car complaints are very common in the car industry. Autoblog reported a list of cars complied by iSeeCars to help interested buyers in choosing which cars to buy.

iSeeCars website studied about 500,000 complaints about safety issues reported to the National Highway Transportation Safety Administration. These reports were derived from 40 model cars manufactured between 2005 to 2016. Check out which cars have the worst and least car complaints received.

Jeep Grand Cherokee. The source reported that this Jeep model is one with the worst car complaints received. Out of 10,000 cars sold there are 63.6 car complaints that were listed by the iSeeCars report. The report shows that this 295 HP, 3.6 Liter V6 engine ranks 2nd in the SafetyComplaints Rate. It is quite surprising that the popular car with a fuel efficiency rating of 18 to 25 mpg is part of the list.

Chrysler 300. The Chrysler 300 received the worst review among the lot. This vehicle with a standard 292 HP, 3.6-liter, 24 valve, V6 engine has a 66.7 car complaint in every 10,000 cars sold. This vehicle is paired with an 8-speed automatic transmission controlling it 2 rear wheels has been reported to have the highest number of safety issues.

Kia Soul. Number 2 on the list of vehicles with least car complaints is the Kia Soul. This 201 HP, 1.6-liter 4 cylinder engine is in the second rank when it comes to the least car complaints list. It has 6.5 car complaints 10,000 cars sold. Not only that its 7-speed dual clutch transmission gear reduces waste when shifting. This means that it is fuel efficient. Fuel efficiency is stated at 26 mpg in the city and 31 mpg on the highway.

Kia Forte. Interestingly, the Kia Forte is in the top rank of the least car complaints list with only 3.5 reported issue. Boston News mentioned that this car has 147 HP, 2.0-liter Atkinson cycle 4 cylinder engine under its hood. Combined with a 6-speed automatic transmission, it becomes very fuel efficient. It could also yield 29 miles per gallon in the city and jumps to 38 miles n highway driving.

This report shows that import cars are really gaining popularity in the US because of it quality over the domestic cars. With car complaints rising in some brand models, this will definitely affect the sales of vehicles unless issues are resolved.
