The upcoming 2018 Chevrolet Equinox is coming out with very promising revisions. The new Equinox is smaller yet Chevrolet boasts it "was designed with your needs and wants in mind."

The 2018 Chevrolet Equinox is a versatile crossover offering a complete repackage. Chevrolet boasts it comes with enhanced style, technology, performance and safety as they have considered the customers' needs and wants.

The 2018 Chevrolet Equinox now sports a smaller body. The successor of the Equinox uses a wheelbase that is 5.2 inches shorter. The length of the new car has also decreased by 4.7 inches compared to the current model.

Furthermore, since the size of the 2018 Chevrolet Equinox has been reduced, the weight consequently dropped down as well. Compared to its predecessor, the new model lost 400 pounds.

In terms of driving experience, the 2018 Chevrolet Equinox provides more silent ride. Compared to its rivals, the Mazda CX-5 and Hondar CR-V, the new Equinox has eliminated the road and wind noises.

The new Equinox also boasts of its dynamic capabilities. The new crossover has firm braking system and accurate steering.

On the inside, the new crossover sports the turbo 1.5-liter inline-four which can deliver a substantial amount of torque. However, CarAndDriver notes that the six-speed automatic model does not seem to perform its maximum potentials.

In addition, the new Equinox has the option for manual shifting capability via the transmission's L setting. This shift can be done by a toggle switch which does not seem to sit well atop the gear lever.

Furthermore, there will be optional engine variants for the upcoming Equinox. Buyers may opt to choose the turbocharged 2.0-liter engine which comes with the latest nine-speed automatic transmission.

Another option is the 1.6-lier diesel four-cylinder which is scheduled to be released by the end of the year. This engine variant promises a 40 mpg on the highway.

The 2018 Chevrolet Equinox carries a base price tag of $23,580. You may book your own Equinox through this official link now.
