Mercedes has been known for creating top luxury cars like the Mercedes-AMG E43. It might be a little bit understated but it is still an elegant, efficient and affordable sedan.

According to Motoring, Mercedes tried test driving the car to freeways and country roads in the Victoria Yarra Valley. Upon testing, it found out that the engine was responsive but tends to be unfussed in lower speeds.

Mercedes-AMG 43 is considered a thoroughbred with a mute howl and impeccable acceleration. However, the test drivers noticed that there are contrived noises coming from the engine upon use.

There is a persistent rattle in the dash that can be heard upon driving on country roads. The test drivers find it utterly unacceptable but aside from that, they have no qualms about the car.

When the car is put in a Sport+ mode, the engine spins away around 3,000rpm. In Sport mode, the car tends to sit around 1,800rpm. On the other hand, the car can sit around 1,500rpm in Comfort mode.

One good thing about the car is that it has great noise insulation specifically road noise. Apparently, the car has great noise insulation even on coarse roads.

When it comes to steering, the car can easily be steered even in sports modes. The car tends to be communicative and precise with a responsive steering input that allows a steady directional change.

Mercedes-AMG 43 also has comes with a stylish look. The car might not be as striking as other cars but it has a mild-mannered look that looks elegant ant stylish.

Similar to other Mercedes cars, it is also high tech with driver aids that are standard to E-class. The car comes with an adaptive cruise control that has a forward-collusion warning and automated emergency braking.

Upon test driving the car the lane-keeping assist can be really intrusive, according to Car And Driver. The car tends to automatically brake the wheels on one side of the car forcing it to get back on the right lane.

Nevertheless, the car comes with an amazing automated driving technology called Drive Pilot. With the feature, the car self-drive for 60 seconds before alarming its driver to take over driving the car.
