The 2018 Lamborghini Urus is definitely making car enthusiasts and industry experts excited as they await the company's first ever SUV. Lamborghini is known for its rides which open wonderfully like butterfly wings but has never done an SUV before. This venture should be very interesting!

According to Top Speed, the 2018 Lamborghini Urus is expected to be the fastest and most dynamic SUV upon official release. After Porsche released its first SUV back in 2003, it is not long when other supercar manufacturers join the bandwagon.

After years of planning, Lamborghini is next to venture in SUV production. The Urus concept was first shown in 2012 at the Beijing Auto Show and after few years, production is underway.

Lamborghini's first SUV is massive and powerful. It is reported to be weighing in at 1,500-pounds with 61 to 71-inches tall at the shoulders. The Urus (basing from the concept car) is distinctly Lamborghini which features all hard angles and aggressive styling a Lamborghini buyer expects. It is also expected to be highly inspired by the Aventador and a little bit of the Huracan model.

The upcoming SUV's fascia is also significantly different. The headlamps have new LED pattern and the engine hood takes on a different shape. The bumpers are also redesigned into a more massive looking piece. It will also have roof rails for practicality (which is becoming a trend in all other SUVs), and multi-spoke wheels which seem to be smaller.

The interior is a mystery. As it was seen heavily camouflaged, not a single interior detail was exposed, even the tiniest bit for experts and fans to come up with a founded conclusion. However, since this is a Lambo, the interior is expected to be top-of-the-class and solid. Being an SUV, it is expected to have an insane interior specifically designed for a more conservative adult- but boring will never be a word to describe it.

As added by Motor Authority, the 2018 Lamborghini Urus Prototype was first seen in Denmark. From the images captured, it appears that it has lost the concept's pumped fenders but the Countach-style wheels are still there.

Lamborghini has certainly done an exceptional job in hiding the prototypes which is definitely good for the luxury car manufacturer. Having very little information about the powerful SUV heightens the much-needed excitement all the more.

The 2018 Lamborghini Urus is also reported to handle off-roading conditions such as snow, sand, gravel and more. Lamborghini definitely went overtime perfecting its first ever SUV and upon release, it may crash all competitions or shove everything else to the side.
