The new 2017 Audi S3 brings high performance to the popular A3 lineup. It's a bit smaller than the average four-door, but for customers who are looking for an engaging compact luxury sedan, the S3 is worth a choice.

The 2017 Audi S3 received an excellent cosmetic refresh and a forward collision mitigation system as standard equipment on all versions. It comes with a rear cross-traffic alert, a USB port, and a revised infotainment system.

The new model is offered in two trim levels: Premium Plus and Prestige. Standard features for the Premium Plus will include 18-inch wheels, keyless ignition, and entry, summer performance tires, selectable driving settings, LED daytime running lights, and automatic LED headlights. Apart from that, it also comes with automatic wipers, a panoramic sunroof, heated front seats, a rearview camera, Bluetooth phone and audio connectivity, a USB port, front and rear parking sensor, Android Auto and Apple CarPlay smartphone integration, and much more.

The Prestige level adds power-folding exterior mirrors with driver-side auto-dimming, LED interior lighting, a 14-speaker Bang & Olufsen sound system, adaptive cruise control, lane departure intervention, and Technology package. The Technology Package and Bang & Olufsen sound system are also offered in the Premium Plus models.

The new Audi is powered by a turbocharged 2.0-liter four cylinder engine that makes 292 hp and 280 lb-ft of torque. An all-wheel and Six-speed dual-clutch automatic transmission come standard.

On the inside, the S3 shares the beautiful, refined cabin design aesthetic of its more expensive stablemates. Its cabin has an eminently comfortable and stylish place. The optional navigation system will come with a larger central display screen and an updated, touch-sensitive control knob.

The 2017 Audi S3 also comes with a lot of safety features which includes antilock brakes, front-seat side and knee airbags, traction and stability control, side curtain bags, and a rearview camera. The new S3 will take on its rivals such as the Mercedes-Benz CLA45 AMG, Subaru WRX STI, and the Volkswagen Golf R.
